COMELEC Sets August 1-10 Voter Registration

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has officially set the resumption of its System of Continuing Registration of Voters from August 1 to 10, 2025. This crucial period allows eligible Filipinos to update their voter information or register for the upcoming electoral exercises.

Originally slated for an earlier date from July 1 to 11, 2025, the registration period was rescheduled. Separately, COMELEC had also announced a broader voter registration period from the last week of October 2025 until July 2026, indicating a multi-phased approach to voter enlistment.

For certain applications, the COMELEC is also facilitating online filing. Voters seeking Reactivation, Reactivation with Transfer of Registration Within or With Correction of Entries, Reactivation with Transfer of Registration Within and With Correction of Entries, and Reactivation with Updating of Records of Senior Citizens and PWDs can submit their applications to the official email address of the appropriate Office of the Election Officer (OEO).

Adding to the accessibility initiatives, COMELEC will also conduct its Register Anywhere Program (RAP) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and select areas in Region III (Central Luzon) and Region IV-A (CALABARZON) from August 1 to 7, 2025. RAP allows individuals to register or update their records at designated sites, often in malls or other public places, regardless of their place of residence.

The COMELEC urges all eligible citizens to take advantage of this limited registration period to ensure their participation in future elections. Voters are advised to visit their local COMELEC office or designated RAP sites with valid identification documents.
