Free Vocational Training: Manila Manpower Development Center (MMDC) Enrollment Guide


The Manila Department of Social Welfare (MDSW) is now accepting enrollees at the Manila Manpower Development Center (MMDC)! If you are a Manila resident looking to gain industry-ready skills, start a home-based business, or earn a TESDA National Certificate (NC II), MMDC provides fully funded vocational and short demonstration courses designed to empower local job seekers and entrepreneurs.



Full Courses Offered

These comprehensive training programs are led by qualified trainers and aligned with TESDA standards to prepare you for National Certification (NC II) and local or overseas employment:

  • Hospitality & Food Services: Barista, Bread & Pastry Production, Cookery, Food & Beverage Services, Housekeeping

  • Beauty & Wellness: Beauty Care (Nail Care), Beauty Care (Skin Care), Hairdressing, Unisex Haircutting, Hilot Wellness Massage, Massage Therapy

  • Technical Skills: Digital Printing



Short Demonstration Courses

For individuals interested in quick-turnaround micro-enterprises or home-based livelihood projects, MMDC offers practical short-term training:

  • Livelihood & Chemical Products: Dishwashing Liquid Soap Making, Fabric Softener Making, Hand Soap Making, Hand & Body Liquid Soap Making, Liquid Cleaner Making, Powder Detergent Making, 70% Isopropyl Alcohol Making, Perfume Making, Candle Making, Massage Oil Making

  • Food Processing & Preservation: Tocino Making, Cured Ham Making, Skinless Longganisa Making, Luncheon Meat Making, Peanut Butter Making, Coco Jam Making

Before heading to the enrollment site, ensure you have gathered the following documentation:
