Local government units in various provinces across Luzon have suspended in-person classes for Tuesday, July 14, 2026, citing the ongoing impacts of the southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat, as well as planned utility maintenance.
Authorities have advised schools in the affected areas to transition to alternative delivery modes of learning to ensure that academic progress continues despite the disruptions.
The following areas have declared suspensions:
Bulacan
- Paombong: Classes at all levels in schools located within coastal barangays have been moved to alternative delivery modes.
Pangasinan
- Mangaldan: Classes from preschool to senior high school, covering both public and private institutions, have shifted to alternative delivery modes.
Isabela
- Ramon: All levels in both public and private schools have shifted to alternative delivery modes.
- Echague: Suspensions apply to all levels in both public and private schools specifically in barangays affected by a scheduled power outage, which is expected to last from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- San Mateo: Classes at all levels for both public and private schools have been moved to alternative delivery modes.
Residents and students are advised to monitor official channels from their respective local government units for further updates regarding the resumption of face-to-face classes, as weather conditions and utility schedules remain subject to change.
