The local government is offering a massive opportunity for aspiring drivers to save on licensing costs, opening 50 standby slots for a free Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) scheduled for July 14 to 15, 2026, at the Barangay 2 Covered Court.
The two-day seminar is a mandatory requirement for individuals applying for a Land Transportation Office (LTO) Student Permit. While the course typically costs around ₱2,000 at private driving schools, this local initiative provides it entirely free of charge to qualified residents.
Because regular slots are highly sought after, these 50 standby slots will serve as immediate replacements in the event of "no-shows" on the day of the event.
Registration Details and Deadline
Slots are strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by the exact time the application email is received. The deadline for registration is today, July 11, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria and bring these requirements to the venue:
- Residency: Must be a resident of Ilog.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.
Note: Applicants aged 16 and 17 must submit a parental/guardian consent letter along with a photocopy of the parent's or guardian's valid ID.
Documents to Bring
Original Birth Certificate or Marriage Contract.
Two (2) valid IDs plus photocopies of each.
Medical Fee: ₱500 for the medical assessment.
Residents are encouraged to submit their applications immediately before the 5:00 PM cutoff today to secure their spot on the priority standby list.
