LOOK: The Miss Universe Philippines Top 75

The Miss Universe Philippines organization on Sunday, August 8, announced its top 75 candidates.

The 75 ladies were selected from the initial top 100 hopefuls. Over a two-week period, fans voted for the candidates' headshots and video introductions via the Miss Universe Philippines app.

According to the organization, the women in the top 75 were determined by both "cumulative votes" from the first two challenges and votes from the Miss Universe Philippines organization.

At least seven contestants stood out as topnotchers in both challenges, according to the organization. Kirsten Danielle "Kisses" Delavin, who represents Masbate, topped both the headshot and video intro challenges. Rousanne Marie Bernos of San Juan City and Maureen Wroblewitz of Pangasinan ranked second and third in both challenges as well.

Taguig City's Katrina Dimaranan, Leren Mae Bautista of Laguna, and Maria Corazon Abalos of Mandaluyong City, noted the organization, placed from fifth to seventh in the challenges.

From the top 75, the list will be trimmed down to a top 50 who will undergo in-person interviews in Metro Manila. From the list, only 30 women will be chosen to participate in the in-person, live coronation night scheduled on September 25.

The top 75 will next take part in the runway video challenge. Videos will be released through the Miss Universe Philippines app beginning Monday, August 9.

The organization also released the swimsuit photos of the top 75.
