Sinarado ang kalahati ng Lopez Drive sa Rockwell, Makati upang magkaroon ng sapat na espasyo para sa outdoor dining ng ilang restaurants.

"It's time to rethink how else we can use our streets to our advantage. Streets take up somewhere between 70-80% of space within a typical city. There's so much you can do with that kind of area," pahayag ng netizen na si Keisha.

"Other countries are already using their streets to accommodate pop up parks and outdoor dining. It's not only beneficial for our physical and mental health, but it also keeps businesses like restaurants alive."

Ayon kay Keisha, marami nang bansa ang kumukuha ng mga kalye upang gawing parks at outdoor dining areas.

Aniya, nakakabuti raw ito para sa physical at mental health, bukod sa pagpapasigla nito sa ekonomiya.

"Hopefully soon, our cities can start to see the benefits of actually creating our streets not mainly for cars, but for people."
