"Wala naman akong sinasabing may plano akong tumakbo for president sa 2022. Parati kong sinasabi na iyong presidency naman destiny iyan, na hindi napaplano, lalo na parang three years before the elections," Robredo told reporters in Naga City.
The vice president also pointed out that history has proven that a successful presidential run was not something that could be planned.
So iyong sa atin, mahirap na planuhin," she added.
Robredo had admitted in an earlier interview with Bloomberg TV that while she faced "challenges" being in the opposition, she was "leaving everything open."
She had said that "a lot can still happen, and I’ve always said that the presidency is a destiny."
