If you are looking to advance your professional driving qualifications or gain a valuable trade skill, the Provincial Training Center–Southern Leyte is now accepting applicants for funded technical-vocational programs.
Offered under national scholarship initiatives, these courses allow eligible trainees to complete training and national certification at no cost.
Available Scholarship Programs
The training center is offering slots for two specialized courses:
- Driving NC III (Tulong Trabaho Scholarship Program - TTSP) – 20 Slots Only
Designed for individuals aiming to elevate their heavy vehicle driving competencies and pursue higher-level opportunities in the transport and logistics sectors. - Tile Setting NC II (Training for Work Scholarship Program - TWSP) – 37 Slots Available
Provides practical, hands-on instruction in construction masonry and professional tile installation.
Scholarship Benefits
Qualified trainees enrolled in either program will receive full financial and instructional support, including:
- Free Skills Training: Complete coverage of tuition and practical instruction fees.
- Free Competency Assessment: Free national assessment upon completion to earn an official TESDA National Certificate (NC).
- Training Support Fund: Daily allowance provided throughout the duration of the program, subject to scholarship guidelines.
Entry Qualifications
To qualify for admission, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age: At least 18 years old.
- Education: High school graduate, college graduate, or ALS graduate (Grade 10 equivalent).
- Status: Must be physically and mentally fit for practical training, and not currently enrolled in formal education or another ongoing training program.
Required Documents
Prepare clear and updated copies of the following requirements before visiting the registration office:
- High School Diploma, Transcript of Records (TOR), or ALS Certificate
- Certificate of Live Birth
- Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
- Valid Medical Certificate
- 4 pieces 1x1 ID photos (White background, with collar)
- 2 passport-size ID photos (White background, with collar)
- Active personal email address
