TESDA is Now Offering Free AI and Digital Skills Courses

In a major push to future-proof the local workforce, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is now offering free online courses on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and essential digital skills to all Filipinos.

The initiative is part of the expanded TESDA Online Program (TOP), the agency’s open-access elearning platform. The new tech-focused curriculum comes at a crucial time as digital transformation rapidly alters the global job market.

"As industries continue to transform through technology and innovation, it is important that Filipinos are equipped with the skills needed to remain competitive and adaptable in the future of work," said TESDA Secretary Jose Francisco Benitez.

Expanding the Digital Catalog: AI and Creative Skills

Through a strategic partnership with UNESCO-UNEVOC and the HP Foundation, TESDA has integrated highly sought-after AI programs into its platform. These courses are designed to transition Filipinos from tech consumers to tech-fluent professionals.

The newly added AI modules include:

• Introduction to AI Concepts: Breaking down the fundamentals of machine learning and data.
  
  
• Responsible AI Use: Navigating the ethics, biases, and proper implementation of artificial intelligence.
  
  
• Practical Applications of AI: Hands-on training on how to leverage AI tools in business operations and everyday workplace settings.

Beyond artificial intelligence, the platform features a robust selection of digital and creative tech courses, including Content Creation for Social Media, Graphic Design, and Digital Marketing. Traditional tech-voc courses such as Beauty Care, Human Health, and Gender and Development remain widely available.

• On the left side of the navigation pane under the administration panel, click “Enroll me in this course”
