The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has issued a Show Cause Order (SCO) against motorcycle vlogger Yanna following a viral road rage incident that occurred in Zambales.
In a statement, LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II confirmed that Yanna was summoned to explain why her driver’s license should not be suspended or revoked.
According to Mendoza, the vlogger’s behavior on the road suggests she may be an “improper person to operate a motor vehicle,” citing her alleged role in provoking the incident.

“Matagal na tayong nagpapaliwanag sa milyon-milyong motorista na walang mabuting idinudulot ang init ng ulo sa kalsada. Napakarami na ang naparusahan natin dito,” Asec. Mendoza emphasized.
“On the part of this vlogger, she should have used her social media influence to promote responsible driving and road safety.”
The incident was captured in a viral video monitored by the LTO’s Social Media Team, in which Yanna was seen making an obscene hand gesture at a pick-up driver, accusing him of reckless driving on a rough road.
The pick-up driver later confronted her to clarify the situation, but the exchange escalated, with Yanna reportedly continuing to argue and make insulting remarks even after the man walked away.
Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring road safety, particularly targeting reckless and irresponsible behavior. “Public figures and influencers have a responsibility to model discipline and accountability on the road,” he said. “Any action that endangers others or incites confrontation will not be tolerated.”
In response to the incident, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) confirmed the suspension of Yanna’s driver’s license for 90 days.

Although Yanna has since issued a public apology following widespread backlash on social media, Asec. Mendoza said that the investigation will proceed to determine further sanctions.
The case has reignited public discourse on the responsibilities of social media personalities, especially when their influence extends to behaviors on public roads. The LTO reminded motorists that road rage incidents will be dealt with strictly, in the interest of public safety.
