Several schools have suspended classes on Tuesday, February 25, in observance of the 39th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s administration previously declared February 25 this year as a special working day, a decision that has drawn criticism for allegedly attempting to “downplay” the peaceful uprising that led to the ouster of his father, former President Ferdinand E. Marcos, in 1986.
