Some areas suspended classes for Tuesday, November 12, due to Severe Tropical Storm Nika (Toraji).

Here are the list of class suspensions on Tuesday:

Cagayan Valley

• Isabela
• Ilagan City – all levels (public and private)
• San Mateo – all levels (public and private)

Calabarzon

• Quezon province
• General Nakar – preschool to senior high school (public and private)

Central Luzon

• Aurora
• Casiguran – all levels (public and private)
• Pampanga
• Mabalacat City – face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private)
• Masantol – face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private)
• Tarlac province
• Bamban – preschool to senior high school (public and private)
• Concepcion – preschool to senior high school (public and private)

Ilocos Region

• Pangasinan
• Rosales – all levels (public and private)
• San Carlos City – all levels (public and private)

Under the guidelines of the Department of Education, in-person classes from Kinder to Grade 12 are automatically suspended if any tropical cyclone wind signal was raised in the area. 

Likewise, classes are suspended if state weather bureau PAGASA issues an orange or red rainfall warning.
