SMC, Ayala Land Agreed to Connect Skyway to Arca South

San Miguel Corp. (SMC) announced on Wednesday that it has signed an integration agreement with Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) to connect the Arca South on and off ramps with the Skyway system via the upcoming South East Metro Manila Expressway (SEMME).

According to the agreement, construction of the integration between Arca South and the Skyway Stage 4 project will commence in 2024. This development will facilitate access between Arca South and the Batasan Complex in Quezon City, enhancing connectivity in the region.

Arca South, a 74-hectare mixed-use development in Taguig, features six residential projects, commercial lots, and various other amenities including the Ayala Malls Arca South, a FIFA-certified football field, and an events area.

The project aims to provide an alternative route from the southern parts of Metro Manila to the eastern areas, including Rizal province. "This partnership shows that when major companies work together, the potential for driving positive change is immense.

By combining our resources and expertise, we will be doing more than just building infrastructure," said SMC President and Chief Executive Officer Ramon Ang in an emailed statement.
