The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially released on Wednesday, November 23, the schedule of board exams for 2023, which includes the opening of online processing, deadline for filing applications, practical examinations, Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) and target date of release of exam result.
The 'Schedule of Licensure Examinations for 2023', under PRC Resolution No. 1589 Series of 2022, is pursuant to Section 7 (d) of R.A. 8981, authorizing the Commission to determine and fix the places and dates of examinations.
PRC board exam schedule below covers examinations for professional teachers (LET), nurses (NLE), certified public accountants (CPALE), physician (PLE), criminologists (CLE), electronics engineers (ECE), midwives (MLE), electrical engineers (REE), civil engineer (CE), among others.

1. Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET): March 26, 2023 and September 24, 2023
2. Nurse Licensure Exam (NLE): May 28-29, 2023 and November 11-12, 2023
3. Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam (CPALE): May 21-23, 2023 and September 30, October 1-2, 2023
4. Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE): June 4-6, 2023 and November 24-26, 2023
5. Physician Licensure Exam (PLE): March 5-6,12-13, 2023 and October 20-21, 27-28, 2023

The SPLE to Overseas Filipino Workers for 2022, shall be scheduled in accordance to PRC Resolution No. 2017-1034 pursuant to R.A. No. 8981 and Executive Order No. 835.
PRC advised that requests for additional testing centers for various examinations shall be in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 1493 series of 2022.
"Filing of applications, including the submissions of all the required and supporting documents at the Regional Offices and Offsite Service Centers shall be within the period indicated in the schedule," the agency said.
"Request for extension of the deadline in filing application, if any, must be submitted to the Licensure office at least fifteen (15) days from the scheduled deadline, otherwise, the deadline herein provided is final and shall be strictly implemented. When the deadline falls on a weekend, regular or special holidays, the said deadline shall be automatically moved to the next working day," PRC added.
