The TESDA–Pangasinan School of Arts and Trades (TESDA-PSAT), located in Lingayen, Pangasinan, is officially accepting applicants for its Cookery NC II program under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP).
Admission is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, with only 25 slots available for this batch. Interested individuals are advised to submit their documents early to secure a slot.
Program Overview
Cookery NC II is a structured training program designed to equip individuals with practical kitchen and food preparation skills suitable for employment or small business ventures. The curriculum spans approximately 316 hours or 40 training days.
Trainees in this program learn essential industry competencies, including:
- Proper food preparation and foundational cooking techniques
- Safe food handling procedures and kitchen sanitation standards
- Efficient kitchen organization and inventory management
- Core operational practices for restaurants, hotels, catering, and food service businesses

Eligibility and Document Requirements
To qualify for the STEP scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: Must be a Filipino citizen
- Age Limit: Must be at least 15 years old by the end of the training period

- Barangay Certificate of Indigency
- PSA Birth Certificate
- Marriage Certificate (for married female applicants)
