Ostrich runs loose in QC subdivision

A resident of a private subdivision in Quezon City caught the moment an ostrich ran down their street, causing a stir in their Tuesday morning.

Another video of the ostrich surfaced online, showing the village guards lowering the barrier to prevent it from escaping.

"Wala kang ID, hindi ka pwede lumabas...wala kang gate pass," someone said.

"Jumanji" trended on Twitter after the video spread like wildfire on the internet.

This is in reference to the iconic film franchise "Jumanji," which revolves around a supernatural board game that unleashes elements from the jungle into the real world.

According to Umipig, there were actually two ostriches running along this morning. Only one was captured, thanks to a team effort by a security guard, a construction worker, and a number of residents. The other continue to roam freely.

Meanwhile, Angkas has posted a promotional graphic image with a promo code "OSTRICH" using the said incident.
