Tawi-Tawi vendors carry fruits, veggies in woven coconut leaf baskets

Amid the public debate on single-use plastics, these vendors from Tawi-Tawi have come up with greener alternatives.
Several fruit and vegetable vendors in the town of Bong-ao were seen carrying their produce inside baskets entirely woven from coconut leaves.

According to Kapampangan Traveller blog's Jan Darren Guiwan who shared the photos, the vendors were doing a great job reducing the use of single-use plastics.
