As part of the goal of making Taguig a 'safe city,' the third, ninth and tenth most wanted men in Taguig are now off the streets. Mayor Lino Cayetano lauded the concerted effort of the police and the local government which netted big names in the most wanted list in the city.

Apart from Victorious Movido, Rene Parazo and Mark Anthony Bornel, also arrested during the One Time Big Time Operations was a retired colonel after he was caught taking illegal drugs in Barangay North Signal red-handed.

The 21 operations that saw around 1,000 members of the Taguig police, the National Capital Region Police Office and the Southern Police District simultaneously serving warrants of arrest and search warrants, conducting buy-bust operations, random checkpoints, and other anti-criminality operations also led to the arrest of 312 city ordinance violators and to the rescue of 58 minors, 45 boys and 13 girls.

Over 100, or 113 sachets of suspected shabu, seven firearms, and two hand grenades were also recovered.

According to Col. Alexander Santos, Taguig police chief, these kinds of police operations are conducted on a daily basis in Taguig, sending a strong message to criminals that the long arm of the law will always catch up to them in the city.

"So with this accomplishment, I would like to recognize the effort of Taguig City Police Station, with all its men and women, together with (SPD) and the assistance of the Special Action Force coming from our national headquarters," National Capital Region Police Office chief Guillermo Eleazar added.

For his part, General Nolasco Bathan, SPD director, said Mayor Lino, who is "very supportive," has also expressed plans to include outreach operations during the OTBT operations.
It was Mayor Lino who, under his ten-point agenda, proposed the institutionalization of linkages among different stakeholders to further promote public safety in Taguig.

Residents of Taguig should expect intensified One Time Big Time operations, as Mayor Lino urged the police to make this the "new norm."

The mayor noted that these operations, after all, were crucial to deterring crime in the community.
Police presence, he added, give law-abiding citizens a sense of security.

"Let us let criminals know that there is no room for crime in Taguig, and the law-abiding persons that the local government is here to protect them always," he added
