Netizens and even the President himself were baffled after the Department of Justice (DOJ) cleared big-time drug lords in the drug-related cases filed against them.
This also led veteran broadcaster Erwin Tulfo to take to social media and expresses his disappointment on this current decision of the DOJ.
In a 7-minute video clip, Erwin lambasted the DOJ panel of prosecutors who made the resolution to clear drug lords Kerwin Espinosa, Peter Lim, Peter Co, and others from their case.
“Nasa narco-list ng Pangulo si Peter Lim at Kerwin Espinosa at iba pa na dinismiss niyo. Inamin na ni Kerwin Espinosa na binibigyan niya o nilalagyan niya si Leila de Lima para hindi siya hulihin. Inamin din ni Kerwin Espinosa sa kongreo at senado na nagbibigay siya sa ilang police official,” he said.
Erwin then asked the prosecutors on what made them decide to clear these drug lords from their illegal drug trade cases.
“Ano ba ang p*tang*nang hindi ninyo nakita d’yan sa DOJ na nakita ng Pangulo, nakita ng kongreso at senado, nakita ng CIDG, at nakita ng sambayanan na kagaya ko na itong mga p*tang*nang ito ay mga drug lord!” he added.
Erwin suspected that these DOJ prosecutors were bribed by the drug lords with millions of pesos in order to release them from the case.
“Halatang halata! Anak ng p*ta naman! Na mga muka kayong kwarta, tinapalan! Ilang pilak ang tinapal sa mga mata niyo?” he said.
The veteran broadcaster also encouraged Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II to closely monitor the prosecutors responsible for the decision and also tag them along in jail when the President’s threat for him to replace the drug lords happen.
“Paano matatapos itong war on drugs natin kung yung mga p*tang*na papakawalan niyo?” he added.
Erwin also encouraged President Rodrigo Duterte to kick out these prosecutors from office, file a case against them and personally review their case.
