Working as a farmer in Japan involves managing day-to-day agricultural operations to ensure high-crop yields and farm productivity. Essential tasks and responsibilities include:
- Crop Cultivation: Preparing soil, planting seeds, and caring for vegetables and fruits.
- Crop Maintenance: Regular watering, fertilizing, weeding, and protecting crops from pests.
- Harvesting & Processing: Harvesting fresh produce, sorting items by quality standards, and packaging them for market distribution.
- Farm Upkeep: Maintaining farm equipment, cleaning work areas, and managing general facility maintenance.
- Teamwork & Safety: Operating safely within a structured team environment while performing physically demanding tasks outdoors across different weather conditions.
Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: High School Graduate (minimum)
- Work Experience: At least three (3) years of verified experience in farming or a related agricultural field, supported by a Certificate of Employment.

- Skills Assessment: Must be willing to take a skills or trade test to demonstrate agricultural competence.
- Medical Fitness: Must undergo a comprehensive medical examination at a DOH-accredited clinic (cost payable to the clinic).
