Jobseekers and aspiring heavy equipment operators can now upskill for free as Western Vocational Institute Inc. opens applications for its TESDA-accredited Heavy Equipment Operation (HEO) Hydraulic Excavator NCII training program in Quezon City.

The free scholarship program aims to provide technical skills training and industry-recognized qualifications to help participants secure immediate employment in the construction and engineering sectors.

Scholar Benefits and Allowances

Under this TESDA scholarship program, accepted trainees are entitled to comprehensive support, including:

• 100% Free Tuition/Training
  
  
• Free TESDA NCII Assessment
  
  
• ₱160 Daily Allowance

Available Schedules and Slot Limits

To accommodate different schedules, the institute offers morning and evening options. However, slots are strictly limited on a first-come, first-served basis:

• AM Class (17 Slots Available): Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  
  
• PM Class (7 Slots Available): Monday to Saturday | 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Qualification Requirements and Needed Documents

The program is open to male and female applicants who meet the basic qualifications:

Applicant Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old (open to any gender)
  
  
• At least a High School Graduate or an ALS (Alternative Learning System) Passer

Required Documentary Submissions:

• 2 photocopies of any valid government-issued ID
  
  
• 2 photocopies of Birth Certificate
  
  
• 2 photocopies of School Credentials (Form 137, Form 138, Diploma, or ALS Certificate)
  
  
• 2 pieces of 1x1 ID pictures
  
  
• 2 pieces of Passport-size ID pictures (white background, formal attire, with printed nametag)
