"Bahagi ito ng patuloy na hakbang ng pamahalaang lungsod upang gawing mas madali at mas accessible ang mga serbisyong pampubliko para sa lahat ng Makatizens," Mayor Binay stated, emphasizing the continuous drive to remove administrative hurdles. This decision is anticipated to greatly benefit thousands of residents who may have previously faced challenges in acquiring or renewing their Makatizen Cards, thereby delaying their access to critical healthcare services.
The Makati Yellow Card, also known as the Makati Health Plus Program, provides eligible residents with crucial benefits, including subsidized medical services, free consultations, free maintenance medicines, and comprehensive hospitalization coverage at Ospital ng Makati (OsMak) and its partner facilities. By eliminating the Makatizen Card requirement, the city government aims to broaden the reach of these vital health services, ensuring that more Makatizens can readily access the medical care they need.
Residents can now proceed with their Yellow Card applications and renewals by fulfilling the other standard requirements, confident that the process has been made more convenient and resident-friendly.
