SM Southmall is set to implement a new, streamlined parking system at its South Tower parking area beginning May 26, 2025.
Under this new setup, motorists will no longer need to pull a physical parking ticket. Instead, their vehicle’s license plate number will serve as their parking identifier.
This innovation mirrors similar systems already in place at Ayala Malls Manila Bay and Landmark Festival Mall, which have received positive feedback for reducing wait times and simplifying the parking process.

According to the mall’s management, the license plate recognition system will make parking “quicker and more convenient” for customers by automating entry and exit procedures.
Multiple Payment Options Available
To ensure a smooth transition, SM Southmall will offer several payment options for parking:
Via the SynerPark App – Users can download the app to manage and pay for their parking digitally.
At the APS Kiosk – Located at the South Tower Concourse, near Door 5.
Scan-to-Pay via WebPOS QR – A convenient option available beside the APS Kiosk, allowing payment directly through mobile phones.
