The establishment of a direct route between the two transport hubs will provide convenience to commuters by reducing the need to make multiple transfers within a single journey.

In 2019, the local government of Navotas sought the establishment of additional bus terminal facilities such as loading and unloading areas, covered walkways, and a ferry station for the ease of commuters. The addition of the new route will improve the accessibility of the local transportation system, according to the City Government.
