Sa Facebook ng lungsod nitong Miyerkules, sinabing isinailalim sa COVID-19 test ang 691 construction workers sa isang construction site sa Fort Bonificio at doon nakitang positibo sa virus ang mahigit 300 sa kanila.
"The recent spike in the number of COVID-19 cases is attributed to the aggressive testing and contact tracing done in areas that were placed on a localized lockdown," ayon sa lokal na pamahalaan.
Mayroon pa umanong 111 katao ang nagpositibo sa virus sa Lower Bicutan makaraang magsagawa ng pagsusuri sa 2,104 katao sa Purok 5 at Purok 6.

Dinala sa isolation facilities ng pamahalaan ang mga pasyente at masusi silang inoobserbahan.
Nanawagan ang lokal na pamahalaan sa kanilang nasasakupan na makipagtulungan upang mapigil ang pagkalat ng virus.

"We don't want to quarantine at the city or barangay level. As much as possible, we want to further localize lockdowns so we can be more specific about the areas we will investigate if there is unidentified mass transmission on the street or cluster of homes or buildings," saad nito sa pahayag.
