New Modus Operandi ‘Hingi Pamasahe’ On Public Jeepneys Exposed Online

The new modus operandi ‘Hingi Pamasahe’ on public jeepneys has been exposed on the social media.

Nowadays, different modus operandi has been already spreading throughout the country to take advantage towards others.

The authorities have also advised the public to be more aware and careful of their surroundings to avoid being a victim of those schemes.

Recently, the Facebook page “Philippines Today” has shared the new modus operandi of a student asking money from jeepney passengers claiming that his valuables have been stolen.

The culprit usually takes public jeepneys at De La Salle University Taft asking money from other passengers claiming that his money and other belongings were stolen.

Of course, kind-hearted passengers would obviously give some amount to the student since he does not have even a single centavo.

After a few weeks, several passengers recognized the culprit using the same modus operandi to earn money from the commuters.

“BEWARE OF THIS MODUS
Notice to everyone around Taft (specifically near DLSU):
Last week (mga gabi na din yun) may nakasabay kaming student sa jeep, naka corporate attire at may dalang green na bag. Sumakay siya sa may tapat lang ng DLSU. Pagkasakay niya, may slash na yung bag niya, nahulog ID niya at susi nia. Nanakawan daw siya kaya out of awa binigyan namin siya ng 175 pesos dahil yun daw pamasahe niya pauwing Laguna.
Kaninang hapon, nagulat ako dahil nakasabay ko nanaman siya, sa tapat rin ng DLSU, at ganun pa din suot niya at bag na dala niya nung gabing nakasabay namin siya. May slash pa din yung bag niya at nahulog din ID (na Letran pero hindi ako sigurado kung sa kanya ba talaga yun) at susi niya sa ekaktong paraan tulad nung nakaraang linggo. Walang pumansin sa kanya kaya hindi niya nagawa yung “script” niya. Narealize ko na hindi pala siya ang biktima, siya pa nambibiktima. 🙁 Hindi niya natandaan na ako din yung nakasabay niya last week.
Sa lahat ng mga nagccommute lalo na sa mga sumasakay ng jeep sa Dlsu, magingat po tayo lagi. Pls share with friends
