The Office of the Executive Secretary has announced the suspension of work in government offices and classes at all levels in the National Capital Region (NCR) due to continuous rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon and Typhoon "Carina."
The suspension is effective from 5:00 a.m. today, following a recommendation by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

Government agencies involved in delivering basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital functions will continue operations. The decision regarding the suspension of work in private companies and offices will be at the discretion of their respective heads.
