In celebration of the Philippines' 126th Independence Day, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) has announced a 'Libreng Sakay' initiative offering free rides on the MRT-3, LRT-1, and LRT-2 lines.
The free rides will be available on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, during peak hours. Commuters can enjoy the complimentary service from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and again from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
