Classes will resume on Jan. 31 (Wednesday) which also signifies the start of the Academic Quarter 3 or the Second Semester.

Meanwhile, DepEd said that the annual five-day break shall be “spent” for the conduct of the Mid-Year Performance Review and Evaluation and the School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) for teachers.

The first two days, DepEd said will be evaluation of the school’s progress in implementing educational programs, projects, and activities as well as “reviewing the performance of teachers and the school staff to address concerns through cooperative effort.”

DepEd said the last three days will be “devoted” to the conduct of the school-based INSET activities for the teachers and preparation of instructional materials.
