43,000 passengers, affected by canceled flights — MIAA


More than 43,000 travelers are complaining after their flights home to their respective provinces were canceled several times due to typhoon Paeng.

According to the leadership of the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), the runway was closed this Saturday afternoon due to the strong winds brought by the typhoon.




Several passengers said their flight was canceled several times from their scheduled trip this Saturday, around 4:00 pm. They said, they are still waiting until this Sunday afternoon in the midst of heavy rain and wind caused by the typhoon.


This Saturday, the MIAA management canceled 295 scheduled flights due to the typhoon.
