‘LizQuen’ eyed by GMA, TV5, Viva, says manager Ogie Diaz

New opportunities are opening up for one of ABS-CBN’s biggest love teams, Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, dubbed “LizQuen” by adoring fans, as the two are being eyed by other networks, like GMA, TV5 and Viva Entertainment.

This was disclosed in a recent YouTube video by Soberano’s manager Ogie Diaz, who said the two stars are keen to stay on with ABS-CBN despite the fiasco of its franchise renewal.

“Eto, this is a good problem for LizQuen. GMA expressed their interest … tsaka TV5 also, at saka yung Viva. Nagbigay sila ng interest in LizQuen. This is a good problem for us, pero syempre, priority muna namin ang ABS-CBN,” Diaz said.

“Actually, ang LizQuen ay isa sa mga hindi binibitawan ng ABS-CBN, so, per Tita Cory Vidanes na nakausap ko, ay gumagawa naman daw sila ng paraan kung paano maitatawid yung mga love teams na pinoprotektahan nila, yung sinesecure talaga nila.”

In fact, Diaz said, a movie for the on-and-off screen couple was just recently pitched to them.

“At excited yung dalawa gawin yung movie, provided mag-flatten yung curve ng pandemya,” Diaz said.

Soberano and Gil made their television drama comeback in January this year with the drama series Make It With You.

But the show was pre-empted by the ongoing coronavirus disease pandemic and, later on, ABS-CBN on going off the air.
