DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade paid a courtesy visit to Pasay City Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano

Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade paid a courtesy visit to Pasay City Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano today, 24 July 2019, to discuss how to smoothly and efficiently coordinate and implement projects of the DOTr in Pasay.

These projects that will benefit the people of Pasay include the Metro Manila Subway Project, the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project, and the MRT-3 rehabilitation.

During the meeting, Mayor Rubiano committed to ensure that all permits necessary for the immediate construction of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension will be released by the City Government in two days.

"Walang proyektong umuusad kung walang tulong at kooperasyon kaya pinupuntahan ko talaga," Secretary Tugade expressed.

Also in attendance were DOTr Usec. for Finance Garry De Guzman, Usec. for Railways Timothy John Batan, Asec. for Special Concerns Manuel Gonzales, LTFRB Board Member Antonio Gardiola Jr., Chief of Staff Atty. Peter Pardo, City Administrator Atty. Bernard Dennis Acordia, City Engineer Edwin Javaluyas, and City Legal Officer Severo Madrona Jr.
