Joel Cariaga, the husband of Noemi Cariaga, surrendered to Bula mayoralty candidate Atty. Felix Brazil two days after the killing took place at Barangay Sagrada, Bula, Camarines Sur.
He was turned over the police who appraised him of his constitutional rights.
The suspect will be facing charges of parricide and murder.
It will be recalled that the lifeless bodies of the Noemi Cariaga and Florencia Antioquia were discovered Tuesday morning by the thirteen-year-old son of Noemi at their residence.
The police are considering jealousy to be the motive of the killing.
