A new food park is soon to open at the lakeshore commons area of Taguig City this month of April, 2018 dubbed as Mercado del Lago which translates to Market by the Lake in english.

The food court is located at the entrance way of the newly developed Laguna Lake Highway in C6 Road, Barangay Lower Bicutan Taguig City right beside the Taguig Lakeshore Hall.

The Mercado del Lago offers a lot of attractions to be able to draw-on more visitors. Some of which are; nipa hut floating restaurant, specialized food stalls court with 500 seating capacity, outdoor cinema, childrens playground, souvenir shop and area for fishing, boating, jogging, biking, wall climbing and skating. It has a total of 5000 sqm area and with 100 plus parking slot for vehicles.

The lakeshore area is expected to become a promising tourist destination that will generate revenue for the city and on its immediate environs once its operate.

The city government of Taguig under the administration of Mayor Lani Cayetano and the City Council and the Committee on Tourism Chairman Coun. Gigi Valenzuela De Mesa encourage everyone to visit the said park to experience the "Probinsyudad" tourism concept which Taguig can proudly offers in the entire National Capital Region as it preserved the area into a charming yet developed pastoral/rural setting area, just like you are in the province.

HOW TO GET THERE

From EDSA (Southbound):
Catch a bus en route to SM Bicutan. Drop off SM Bicutan Exit of SLEX. Cross the footbridge to DOST. Look for a white tricycle (fare is P8). Dropoff Jollibee Lower Bicutan. Cross the intersection head to C6. Look for the Taguig Lakeshore hall. It is just next to it.

From Pasig:
Catch a jeepney from Pasig Simbahan or Palengke en route to Bicutan. Then drop off Lower Bicutan. Cross the intersection head to C6. Look for the Taguig Lakeshore hall. It is just next to it.

From Laguna, Sucat or Muntinlupa:
Catch a bus en route to EDSA (make sure to ride to a bus that will pass the Bicutan exit of SLEX). Drop off Bicutan Cross the footbridge to DOST. Look for a white tricycle (fare is P8). Dropoff Jollibee Lower Bicutan. Cross the intersection head to C6. Look for the Taguig Lakeshore hall. It is just next to it.
